I was in Starbucks today and saw an awesome vinyl carrying case for a cup. When I saw that it was $35, I decided to try and make one myself. Most of the patterns I saw online were for smaller cup sizes. I wanted it for my large Starbucks reusable cup. I came up with a very simple pattern using elastic to make the size adjustable. I also use hooks for the strap so that I can easily switch out strap colors/sizes. These are the supplies I used for this project. There are no complicated techniques which makes it perfect for beginners.

The Supplies
- Download the Free Pattern for this project from our Google Drive.
- 1 Piece of Cotton Fabric for Front and 1 Piece of Cotton Fabric for Lining. Fat Quarters and Scraps work great for this project. Scraps must be approx. 11 inches wide and 3 inches tall.
- Fabric scraps (approx. 2 inches wide and 3 inches tall) for keychain loops
Optionally, you can use an already made strap to attach to your coffee carrier.
The PDF Pattern
Use the 1 inch square to make sure the pattern prints out in the correct size. This pattern was made with the large Starbucks reusable cups in mind. Use more or less elastic depending on the size of your cup.
