There’s nothing better than cozying up with a warm cup of coffee on a crisp autumn morning. But those seasonal coffee shop drinks can add up quickly. The good news? You can make a delicious fall coffee flavor syrup right at home with a handful of simple ingredients — and it tastes just like it came from your favorite café.
This homemade syrup is perfect for lattes, cappuccinos, cold brews, or even drizzling over pancakes. To make it extra fun, I’ve included a free printable fall syrup label you can add to your jar or bottle for a charming, coffee-shop-at-home vibe.
Recipe: Homemade Fall Coffee Syrup
Ingredients:
- 1 cup brown sugar (gives a warm, caramel-like depth)
- 1 cup water
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
Instructions:
- In a small saucepan, combine the water and brown sugar. Heat over medium until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Add the cinnamon sticks and nutmeg. Stir gently and bring to a low simmer.
- Reduce heat and let the syrup simmer for about 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat, stir in the vanilla extract, and let the syrup cool slightly.
- Pour into a clean glass jar or syrup bottle.
Storing Your Syrup
- Store in a glass jar or syrup bottle.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
- Shake before each use (spices may settle slightly).
