✂️ Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Cut your fabric
   Cut two 3x8-inch rectangles from your cotton fabric. Choose fun prints or pastel colors for a magical look.
2. Add lace detail
   Pin your 3-inch lace trim along the bottom edge of one fabric rectangle (the short side). This will be the front of your sleeping bag.
3. Sew the layers together
   Place the second fabric rectangle right sides together with the first one. Sew around the edges, leaving a small opening at the top (the side opposite the lace).
4. Turn it right side out
   Use the opening to turn the fabric right side out. Push out the corners and flatten.
5. Create the fairy pillow
   Fold the lace-trimmed side up, leaving about ¾ inch at the top for a tiny pillow area.
6. Mark the pillow
   Use chalk or a fabric marker to draw a line across the top of the folded sleeping bag where the pillow ends.
7. Sew the pillow seam
   Sew along the marked line to create the pillow section.
8. Add stuffing
   Fill the opening with fiber fill to give your fairy a soft pillow. Then hand-stitch or machine-stitch the opening closed.
9. Top Stitch
   Fold the bottom up to where the lace is just below the pillow. Hold the fabric with the fold farthest away from you. Stitch down the right side, across the top of the pillow and back down the left side.
10. Attach a Fairy Tag
    For a magical touch, print and cut a fairy tag. Use a hole punch around the center circle. Roll the sleeping bag and use a thin ribbon to tie the tag around the rolled sleeping bag. These make great party favors, especially with a tiny fairy inside!
